I'm here tired as ever writing a blog, why? Because I know some of the repercussions from a certain friend if I don't write this blog.
So I sat down and checked my Myspace page one last time, to see if anyone comments me / messages me, and there stood a NEW BLOG POST from one of my friends. And when I opened and read this specific blog post, I just became baffled and dumbfounded as to the means of it all.
Basically my friend and her sister-in-law are in a huge conundrum of a fit over the likes of what I do not know. But what I do know is that fighting is not the answer, well let me rephrase that. I do not think bickering about each other, and making fake Myspace's to check up on one another is the "right" process to go after.
Our time on this world is so abruptly short, and people want to spend their time bickering and fighting to things they don't comprehend. I'm writing not only about fighting, but about EVERYTHING deemed wrong from society, by ourselves and our ancestors. Don't mistake my words, I obviously think that killing, raping, molesting, and greed among others are WRONG. But, just today as I most unwillingly went to church with my family, I realize how wrong people can be sometimes, I'm going to ask a few questions on how you feel about these things. (Yes or No only)
1.) Same-sex marriage i.e. Gay people
2.) Abortion
3.) Nudity
4.) Hunting
If you answered, yes or no to any of these then YOU ARE WRONG.
We judge not knowing the full side of the story, as it is typical with humankind. Why do we judge others? Why did "God" give us free-will but demand for us to pray only to him? If you think about it scientifically and logically, it makes not one thought of sense. The only judgment should be upon a single person and a small group of their family. Not looking at them, but instead the evidence brought before them. I'll give you a small example before I go to bed, and if you leave my blog not thinking any differently, then my friend, our world is doomed to idiocracy (if you don't know what this means, let me know.)
As you may or may not know, I am a huge fan of indie films. I absolutely adore them, so every year I try to get my copy on at least one of a Sundance Festival movie. My choice was: Hounddog. You can read the synopsis here. Call me strange but this sounded like an interesting choice as I have never seen a film done like this before, especially one that brings light to rape and the suffering of its victims. So the release date for the DVD was on Feb. 14 or so, and I ordered it through Amazon.com, two weeks later they delayed my order, a month after that they cancelled my order. I got curious as what the means were to this, but to shrilly founded out, I did. There was an obscene amount of 'Christians' and others as well who were shrilled and mad at a movie like this coming out; A young girl getting raped in the movie, Dakota Fanning, a marvellous actress the age of twelve and from what I can say she does have a lot of guts for doing that movie.
I mean literally people did not see the underlying theme of that movie, all they see is the gray area and not color like they should. The theme, the way I interpreted it was after the rape had happened, she let the rape consume her and ruin her life, until someone helped her get passed this. Not only do people not see the theme, they don't even want to see the film. All they can do is write about it, and how wrong it is to let Ms. Fanning do a film like this, it is surprising because I watched a new movie that came out (The Last House on the Left, 2009) and the rape scene it had in that was far more intense and painstaking, then I had got a copy of Hounddog from an anonymous source: then comparing to the Hounddog rape scene, in which there is not one visible scene in which it was obscene, or including nudity.**** All in all, I think our society is outrageous, end of story.
**** (I can play both sides of the fence with this, first of all nudity is how we all are born, if we were born with clothes on it'd be different, but we're not! Secondly, ITS A CHILD! There is nothing to see anyway! Haha.. how more ridiculous can it get, honestly? Do I think the rape scene was bad: OF COURSE I DO, IT'S A HORRIBLE ATROCITY TO THINK THAT THERE ARE MEN OUT THERE WHO PREY ON WOMEN LIKE THIS, IT IS SICK, DEMEANING, AND DEMORALIZED. Do I feel nudity, whether it be a child or an adult should matter: NO, who cares if someones naked? Nudity and nakedness are only given the thoughts YOU give it! If you think a girl/woman topless is sexually explicit, then I say: YOU ARE A FOOL!
I think I've gotten my point across, Goodnight!
I must say, you're very good at reflecting upon things! I keep getting surprised by the seriousness of your blogposts, and the insight you manage to portray through them. And your sometimes advanced language makes you seem very very educated. Just thought you'd like to know. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're ok!
